Mission
Black Homeschoolers of Central Florida, Inc. exists solely to inform, educate, and help homeschooling families, namely those of color, in the greater Central Florida area and the State of Florida. Black Homeschoolers of Central Florida, Inc. executes that mission by providing classes, guest speakers in career fields, field trips, hosting an annual graduation/awards ceremony, a lending library, informative communications, support, motivation, family to family connections, and connections to other support groups at the local and state level. Black Homeschoolers of Central Florida empowers our children and inspires parents to harness the power within to educate their children. This organization is not affiliated with any one religion and is open to people of all faiths. Black Homeschoolers of Central Florida is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization.

High-Level Objectives
1. **Academic Excellence:**
- Provide a wide range of educational resources and classes tailored to meet the academic needs of Black homeschooling families, ensuring students achieve high academic standards.
2. **Cultural Empowerment:**
- Offer programs that emphasize African and African American history, culture, and heritage, fostering a strong sense of identity and pride among students.
3. **Community Building:**
- Create a supportive and inclusive community for Black homeschooling families, where parents and students can connect, share resources, and grow together.
4. **Leadership Development:**
- Develop leadership skills in students through clubs, public speaking opportunities, and community service, preparing them to be confident and capable leaders.
5. **Parent Support and Education:**
- Provide ongoing support, training, and resources to homeschooling parents, helping them to effectively educate their children and navigate the homeschooling journey.
6. **Extracurricular Enrichment:**
- Offer diverse extracurricular activities, including sports, arts, and science programs, to ensure well-rounded development and the exploration of students’ interests and talents.
7. **Advocacy and Representation:**
- Advocate for the needs and rights of Black homeschooling families at the local and national levels, ensuring their voices are heard and their contributions recognized.
8. **Sustainability and Growth:**
- Establish sustainable programs and partnerships that ensure the long-term growth and impact of Black Homeschoolers of Central Florida, Inc., expanding our reach and enhancing our services.
